Soroptimist International of Gig Harbor (SIGH) was chartered in 2007 and is one of the youngest Soroptimist clubs in the Puget Sound area. SIGH is part of a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
Through our fundraising efforts, we have been able to provide funding to various community organizations. Here are some of the projects that help the lives of women and girls in the Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula communities:
Attending monthly meetings is the best way to learn all about the club. Currently, meetings are conducted on the fourth Thursday evening of every month. Meetings include a business portion followed by a guest speaker, special event, or presentation. Light dinner is provided and the meeting is open to all members and guests. If you are interested in attending one of these meetings as a guest, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional details and location.
SIGH’s main focus is to provide needed services and financial assistance to women and girls in our local community. Find out more about improving the lives of girls and women in our community on our donation page.
